With Christmas just over a month away, we're (excitedly!) looking ahead to the festive season and a few of our favourite things...

The Best Thinds About the Holidays

  1. Christmas trees and decorations

There is nothing better than seeing towns transform with pretty lights and holiday decorations.

  2. Holiday time

Even if you love work or study, a break is always welcome!

  3. Christmas music

We know it’ll eventually get on your nerves, but you have to admit that Christmas really wouldn’t be the same without the classics (Bing Crosby, anyone?).

  4. Hot drinks

Creamy hot chocolates, copious cups of tea, spicy mulled wine, soothing gingerbread lattes… whatever you fancy, this season is all about keep toasty whilst drinking something tasty.

  5. Seasonal activities

No matter what age you are, the holiday season is a time to simply enjoy yourself. Notable mentions include ice-skating, Christmas markets, sledding, our Santa Run and hoping for snow.

  6. Ugly jumpers

We’ll take any excuse to wear an ugly jumper! Come on, admit it; we all secretly love the awful jumpers that have sneaked into our high street stores the past few years.

  7. Time of giving

This time of year can bring out the best in people. It’s a chance to reflect on the year that’s past and consider the difference we can all make for other by supporting great causes like Bipolar UK. Want to make a donation today?

  8. Getting cosy

Any excuse to snuggle up under a thick blanket in your pyjamas is fine by us! With the chilly British winter, there’s no better time to sit by the fire (or radiator), with a hot drink and a classic film. Bliss…

  9. Time spent with loved ones

Christmas gives us a reason to get in touch with friends, family and loved ones. Looking for cards to send to your loved ones? Check out our Christmas card selection

  10. Seasonal treats

This is the one time of year where you can indulge just a little! Mince pies, candy canes, eggnog... everything in moderation, right?
