Why are you fundraising?Tell people what you are doing and why. People will care more if they know why you're supporting Bipolar UK. Keep everyone up to dateKeep people interested in what you're doing by updating them with photos, goals achieved, stories and videos. Give yourself a target (and smash it!)Add a target for how much money you want to raise. This tells people what you’re aiming for and how close you are to achieving it. Share, share, shareSharing what you’re doing and what you hope to achieve on social media is a fantastic way to reach more people. Think creativelyCome up with unique ideas to give people an extra reason to donate. For example, pledge to share an embarrassing childhood photo if you raise 100% of your target. Don’t forget about Gift AidGift Aid allows charities an additional 25p for every pound donated from the government. Gift Aiding your donations means that you can raise more for less!
