These services are staffed by mental health professionals and may also offer peer support. They're open to individuals and carers experiencing a mental health crisis or emotional distress.

We've listed some local services that might be useful but there might be other services closer to where you live. These services can be a useful source of support, especially over the festive season.

There will hopefully be more opening over the next year following the success of a pilot scheme in Surrey and the government has also pledged funds to create more safe spaces.

City and Hackney (London)
