Carers Week takes place from 6 - 12 June 2016, with Bipolar UK raising awareness of carers for individuals with bipolar.

Bipolar UK takes part in Carers Week 2016

Carers Week is an annual campaign recognising the contribution that carers make to families and communities across the UK. Carers Week also looks at the challenges that carers face.

Sara O'Herlihy, Peer Support Officer, will be representing Bipolar UK at the following events in England and Wales:

  • 7 June - Princess of Wales Hospital, Coity Road, Bridgend, CF31 1RQ - 10am - 3pm
  • 8 June - University Hospital Llandough Information Centre, Penlan Road, Llandough, CF64 2XX - 9.30am - 12.30pm
  • 8 June - Bedwellty House, Morgan Street, Tredegar, NP22 3XN - 10.30 - 3pm (Bipolar UK: afternoon only)
  • 9 June - Scout & Guide HQ, Bryn Road, Swansea, SA2 0AU - 9.30am - 2pm
  • 10 June - Vassall Centre, Gill Avenue, Fishponds, Bristol, BS16 2QQ - 10.30am - 3pm
  • 13 June - University Hospital Wales (main entrance), Heath Park, Cardiff, CF14 4XW - 12pm - 2.30pm
