“We are deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty The Queen and offer our deepest condolences to the Royal Family. She served our nation with so much dignity and dedication during her long years of public service, and I’m sure many of us are struggling with the news of her passing.

We will remember the Queen with affection and gratitude as we reflect on how she dedicated so much of her time to good causes. We join with people across the UK and around the world as we remember the lifetime of tireless service given by our longest-reigning monarch, whose Platinum Jubilee we celebrated so recently.

During her reign, the stigma surrounding mental health has transformed. There is of course still a way to go, but we acknowledge the impact of the Royal Foundation in this area – a cause Queen Elizabeth II championed. As we continue to challenge the prejudice around bipolar, Her Majesty’s exemplary light of hope that gently and steadily burned for seven decades will continue to guide us.

Whilst we pause to remember her support for communities all round the world, our hearts go out to the Royal Family and those close to them. May she rest in peace.”
