Bipolar UK are looking to recruit Peer Support Line volunteers for a 6 month period between 1 November 2019 and 31 May 2020. These roles are based at our London HQ in Victoria and open to people affected by bipolar disorder, whether they have the illness themselves or support family members, partners or friends who have it.

You will be offering support by telephone and email to people in a similar position to you. We offer full training, and also travel expenses and lunch expenses if appropriate. We are looking for people who are willing to share their experience and offer information and advice as appropriate.

You will be expected to commit to one fixed weekday per week for six months, and to attend training for one day.

This is a great opportunity for you to reach out and help others directly. We believe you will learn a great deal about bipolar, how to manage it and what support there is out there in the UK.

Having completed the volunteer period, we hope you will have built up a significant amount of knowledge and experience so you will be able to apply with confidence for jobs in this field.

To apply please complete the application below and email it to [email protected], or send it to us in the post to the address listed on the form. Below, there is also a role description, for more information. The deadline for application is 1 October 2019.

We look forward to hearing from you!
