Our Support Groups are free to attend and are open to anyone affected by bipolar, including family, friends and carers. Find out more about what happens at a Support Group.

 Every Wednesday

Time: 6.30pm - 8.00pm

Accessibility info: Unfortunately the venue is not wheelchair accessible as the venue is up one flight of stairs.

Further info: The group meets weekly. The first Wednesday in the month includes a specific program of discussion topics as shown below. We hope to include speakers in the future so the program is subject to change.

On other Wednesdays, there's a general Support Group where we talk about our current moods and feelings while sharing advice and experiences. We'd love to see new members at any of our meetings!

6 July - Warning signs, triggers and 'first aid' for highs and lows

3 August - Mindfulness/meditation/yoga or Pink Floyd

7 September - Nutrition, exercise and sleep

5 October - Support mechanisms/ disclosing bipolar and stigma

2 November - Resources and media (best books and films portraying bipolar)

7 December - Christmas (either a discussion on surviving Christmas or a Christmas social)
