Join Bipolar UK at the Mental Health & Wellbeing Show 2026

  • Posted: 19 March 2026

Bipolar UK will be taking part in the Mental Health & Wellbeing Show 2026, a major event bringing together people, organisations and professionals passionate about improving mental health and wellbeing. The show takes place on Friday 15 May 2026 at Cardiff City Stadium, and we’re excited to be running a seminar focused on self‑management and challenging stigma around bipolar.

Learn more about self‑management and bipolar

As part of the show’s seminar programme, Bipolar UK will be hosting a session that explores the importance of understanding bipolar, tackling stigma, and supporting effective self‑management. The seminar will look at how attitudes towards mental health can affect people at work, in relationships and within healthcare settings, and why a more holistic, informed approach matters.

The session will be led by Helen Hancock, Senior Peer Support Officer at Bipolar UK, alongside Ceri Ashe, a Welsh actor, playwright and Bipolar UK Ambassador. Ceri will share her personal experiences of bipolar and stigma, including insights from her play 'Bipolar Me', highlighting the power of lived experience in changing perceptions and starting meaningful conversations.
