World Bipolar Day

World Bipolar Day takes place every year on 30 March. It marks the birthday of Vincent van Gogh, who was thought to have had bipolar. It’s a global moment to shine a light on a condition that affects millions of people, yet is still widely misunderstood.

The aim of World Bipolar Day is to help everyone understand what bipolar disorder is (and what it isn’t) and to help end the stigma that many people continue to face.

Every year, Bipolar UK celebrates World Bipolar Day by running events and activities online and across the country. We raise awareness, share stories, and raise vital funds so we can continue supporting anyone affected by bipolar in the UK.
