Find a support group near you

Bipolar UK continues to offer virtual peer support via local, national and specialist support groups usually by zoom.

How do I find  a group?

Below you can see details of all online groups planned for the next month with a link or email address for booking. They are listed alphabetically.

If your local group is not listed here, you can join a national support group.  These take place roughly every month.

All our groups are open to anyone affected by bipolar, with or without a diagnosis, family, carers and friends.

There is also a list of groups which are currently on hold. These will resume as soon as circumstances allow.

Use the blue buttons to filter which groups you would like to see.

What happens at a group?

Our specialist groups are also frequently held and focus on particular themes:

  • family and friends
  • young people aged 18-25
  • work and learning
  • self-management

In addition we host occasional:

  • panel discussions
  • self-management webinars

Meetings are hosted by Bipolar UK staff and/or volunteers who are affected by the condition.

In between meetings you may also like to access peer support via our online forum eCommunity open 24/7 and moderated between 8am and 8pm.  A welcoming safe space to share lived experience.
