The importance of peer support

Bipolar affects around one million people in the UK, carrying a 20-fold increased suicide risk. Three in five people in our community told us that money worries are a significant trigger for bipolar symptoms.

We have teamed up with the Big Give for their Kind2Mind campaign to help provide our peer support services for even more people.

For the two weeks of this campaign, each donation we receive until midday on Tuesday 28 May will be doubled! This means you can help twice as many people affected by bipolar.

Every donation counts

Your donation will help us to continue the delivery of our core peer support services, such as our 1-1 phone call support, online eCommunity and local peer support groups, to promote recovery, give practical advice and build a supportive community for people affected by bipolar.

We also aim to support our community with navigating the additional triggers of the cost-of-living crisis with practical financial advice from our partners, as well as our core peer support services.

Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we are working to ensure as many people affected by bipolar as possible across the UK can access support.
