Support Us Fundraising Tandem Skydive Tandem Skydive with Bipolar UK Skydiving events raise an incredible amount for charity each year, which is exactly why we’re getting involved. With a tandem skydive you can challenge yourself and raise money and awareness for our truly important cause – all while having fun and ticking that one thing off your bucket list! What does a skydive involve? Tandem skydiving means that a professional skydiving instructor will be strapped to your back throughout the whole descent. This is the perfect experience for a first-time jump as the instructor will carry out the majority of the work for you. This leaves you free to enjoy the view! Who can take part? Anyone over the age of 16 can take part – however, if you're 16 or 17 you will need to get a consent form signed by a parent or guardian on the day of the jump. This is sent out once you are booked on. A few airfields have an upper age limit for tandem jumps: Cornwall has an upper age limit of 65, Lancaster and Whitchurch have a limit of 70 and Perthshire has a limit of 49. Novices are welcome - SkyLine will take you through your safety briefing before taking you to the skies for an unforgettable experience! For more info, please visit the skyline page where the FAQs are listed at the bottom of the page. How do I sign up? All that we ask of you is that you raise a minimum of £400, with a £70 deposit to be paid when booking. With 20 different locations to choose from in the UK, there should be an airfield close enough to home for everyone. Booking is quick and easy so why not do it today Please only commit to the skydive if you are feeling well enough to take part in a big challenge. Thank you for taking part in an event for Bipolar UK. The funds you raise will help us offer vital support to over one million people in the UK living with bipolar, their friends and family.
